“Approaching any discipline involving exercise which has not been previously experienced, it is wise to select guidance and tuition from a coach and team that has acknowledged credentials and proven professional background. That will greatly assist in achieving safe, enjoyable and positive outcomes.

“With that in mind I chose Raumati Clinical Pilates Studio – Empower Pilates. Headed up by Sara Dore, a Physiotherapist with a proven background in sports medicine I felt confident that because I have some physical limitations I would not be exposed to any regime that would place me at risk.

“Personal care and specialized competency to meet my specific needs has always been at the forefront of the tailored program.  Whilst at the same time there has been the constant encouragement and challenge to grow in the discipline and exercise alone when appropriate. Based on this experience I commend Sara and her team as the one to lead you into the exciting and challenging discipline of Pilates.” - Tony Waters, 64

"Since starting Clinical Pilates over a year ago I have noticed huge improvements with two particular problems that had been plaguing me for some time - tennis elbow and sciatica.  If I miss my class for more than a couple of weeks at a time my sciatica will always remind me of the old days.  Whereas the tennis elbow has never returned.  I found Pilates beneficial in many areas where flexibility and strength are required.  To be reminded on a constant basis how important good posture is to your well-being has served me well .... I'm sure it's even helped me with digestion of food.  Thanks Sara!" - Joy Davidson51
